This route starts in Bad Sachsa and takes you to the top of the Ravensberg (660 m), from where you have a beautiful view of the Harz. The climb up is challenging with steep sections and some rocky paths, but the descent is a real reward. After the climb, you can enjoy fast descents and technical singletracks. There are several routes circling Ravensberg, so you can make your own variations depending on your level and preference.
Bad Sachsa to the Brocken

For those looking for a long day trip, a ride from Bad Sachsa to the Brocken, the highest mountain in the Harz (1141 m), is a great challenge. The route goes over wide forest paths and quiet gravel roads towards the foot of the Brocken. From Schierke, the serious climb to the summit begins, where the landscape changes to rugged mountainous terrain. The way up is tough, but the views from the top are spectacular. After the climb, descend back to Schierke and return to Bad Sachsa via a different route.
